Purple & Silver Tuscan – Inspired Backyard Wedding|Amanda & Anthony

Today’s wedding submitted by Tara Shiloh Photography, is inspired by the ambiance of a Tuscan fete.   The couples chosen color palette of purple, silver and white is just perfect for such an event.

From the Photographer: I am honored to present the wedding of Anthony and Amanda! An awesome couple that I met a few months ago and completely fell in love with them and their love for each other. I have to say that this was truly a magical wedding, even though the wind was blowing, nothing was going to take the magic out of this wedding. The wedding’s theme had a Tuscan feel, with lovely purple, silver and white details. In the beautiful home of Amanda’s Aunt and Uncle, this backyard wedding had one of the best views I have seen in the Antelope Valley.

From the Bride, Amanda:

How did you meet?

Anthony and I met at work when we were both working for a local Credit Union. He was the one who trained me when I started there. We both agree it was love at first sight!

What was your Wedding Planning, Inspiration and Style?

The first thing I knew when we started to plan the wedding was that I wanted the colors to be…. Purple and silver. After we started to buy decorations it just flowed into a Tuscan style. We had Italian food, decorated with lots of greenery, wine glasses and bottles, lots of wine, and even our cake had grape vines on it.

What was your Favorite memory of the day?

My favorite memory from that day was of course saying “I Do” to the man of my dreams and when he started singing the song to me for our first dance. (Just so I could hear)

Do You have any advice for other brides?

The best advice I can give to other brides would be don’t stress the day of your wedding! No matter how much you plan and prepare, SOMETHING will not be the way you plan it to be and it will STILL be the day of your dreams. For us it happened to be the windiest day of the whole year. Don’t let the little things ruin your day!!

Blush Pink, Silver and Grey Winter Wedding Palette

Good day Lovely’s, I have another winter wedding inspiration board to share today, this one has a palette of  blush pink, silver and grey.  I just adore the color blush – so I thought why not incorporate it into a winter wonderland wedding theme.

Of course when planning a winter wonderland event you want to make sure it sparkles, that is where the sparkly silver comes in.  Grey just reminds me of a winter’s day and goes well with any winter palette.

I just love the pretty bridesmaid dress in a tea rose color from BHLDN.  What about those pretty tear drop earrings and beautiful brooch hair clip?  The winter wonderland confetti via BirdcageCards just adds to the overall theme, don’t you think?
