Rustic & Elegant Autumn Wedding|Angie & Bill

Angie & Bill’s rustic elegance wedding took place on a beautiful October day in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee.    It included a few of my favorites such as twinkling lights, baby’s breath bouquets, and magnificent surroundings.  Angie & Bill are simply adorable and when you view the photos below you will also agree that they are meant to be.

Brooke & Nathan’s Wedding at Legacy Farms

Hello my sweets! I have pretty country chic wedding to share with you all today.  Brooke & Nathan’s late June wedding took place at Legacy Farms in Lebanon, Tennessee.   Brooke wore an “Oh So Pretty” blush pink gown from the White by Vera Wang collection.  I love how they chose a palette of shades of pink and blue for this event.  To me this palette compliments Brookes pink gown perfectly.

Special thanks go to Matt Andrews Photography for submitting this beautiful wedding!

Take a peek at the photos below, and don’t forget to read the brides comments at the end of the post.

From the Bride, Brooke:

How did you meet?

We met at Hooters of Murfreesboro, TN, of all places, Nathan’s favorite restaurant (for the wings, of course)in late 2004.  Nathan’s family was visiting him; some friends, his mom, his dad, and Nathan went to Hooters for dinner. I was their waitress, and his dad was very persistent in telling me that he thought we would make a great couple.  He talked me into giving him my number.  Of course I had seen Nathan around town previously, but was too shy to approach him. We went out on a date the next week and to a Halloween party soon after.  After I graduated from MTSU in December, we eventually moved in together.  Eight years later, here we are.

What was your Wedding Planning, Inspiration and Style?

I chose a country chic theme for our wedding. I wanted a very organic feel to the ceremony space so lots of flowers were a must. The ceremony was originally planned outdoors, but was moved indoors into the loft area above the reception space last minute on account of extremely hot weather (Lebanon just happened to be the hottest city in the country that day – lucky us). The florist did a beautiful job in delivering that organic feel that I wanted while accommodating guests more comfortably indoors. I had shepherd hooks align the aisle with mason jars filled with a variety of pink and deep red colored blooms.  The string quartet played some of our favorite songs from the loft behind the alter.

What was your Favorite memory of the day?

Nathan’s favorite moment was watching me walk down the aisle, just after the quartet finished playing some of our favorite contemporary songs.  My favorite moment was when we were announced husband and wife and walked hand in hand down the aisle.  We also enjoyed our first dance as husband and wife to The Killers’s version of Dire Straits’ Romeo and Juliet.  We also enjoyed our guests having a wonderful and memorable night during the reception.

Do You have any advice for other brides?

Just keep it simple!  And remember, NOTHING is truly all-inclusive.  Even with an “all-inclusive” venue, leading up to the wedding was the most stressful 6 months of our lives.  We took on doing almost all the decor ourselves, and let us tell you, just let the venue do it for an extra charge – it will save you your sanity.  Also, choose an established venue with a great track record.  The money will be worth it. Other than that, and everyone will tell you this, but really try to savor the day. It will be over in the blink of an eye.
