For most women, planning a wedding, especially their own wedding, is very fun, exciting, and romantic. But if you do not know what to do and where to begin, it can be a nightmare. If you want to have the wedding of your dreams, here are some basic steps to planning a wedding.
1.Know your Budget. Money matters sometimes take away the magic from a wedding but you have to know this from the start. This is because you will base everything on how much money you are willing and you can spend. If you have the money, then sky’s the limit. But if you have a cheaper budget, you should plan your wedding carefully or you will end up broke with no money left for your honeymoon.
2.Decide on the Number of Guests. Again, this is based on your budget. If you can pay for hundreds of guests, then invite as many as you want. And if you can only invite less than a hundred for a small wedding, just invite people who are close to you. Forget about your neighbor’s friend whom you met once at a party.
3.Choose the Place and Date. The place should be accessible to your guests. For the date, popular months are June and December. Just think about your guests and whether or not they will be free on your chosen wedding date.
4.Plan the Details. This means you have to think about your wedding’s theme, decorations, music, cake and food, colors, flowers, bride’s gown and groom’s suit, bridesmaids’ gowns, invitations, and wedding favors.
5.Decide on your Honeymoon. Choose a romantic honeymoon getaway such as a trip to Hawaii, Carribean, Bahamas, and so on.
These are only the basic steps. You still have to pay attention to small details. Just remember to have fun and do not stress yourself out. After all, weddings are supposed to be fun, not stressful.
