September Wedding Colors to Brighten Up the Occasion

September is the month when summer ends and fall begins. Colors that display the transition between these two seasons include earth tones and warm shades. This would mean lots of green, brown, yellow, orange, red and deep purple.

September wedding colors should be as vibrant as the changing hues of the event’s surroundings. Couples can mix and match the colors according to their wedding theme and their tastes. Some of the popular combinations for this season include gold and dark green which is elegant and stylish. Add a tinge of golden yellow as an accent to the wedding invites and accessories to complete the look. Orange is among the most used September wedding colors. You can pair this up with dark or bright shades depending on the shade. Rusty orange can go well with burgundy or plum while bright orange can be complimented with a watermelon shade. It would be best to add a third color like cream or white to neutralize the strong colors. September wedding colors should manifest the warmth of the changing season so ginger and mocha shades are also appropriate to use. If you would want to add a touch of royalty to your wedding, shades of purple can be your primary color. You can then mix it with a muted tone like champagne or soft yellow. You can accessorize by using silver or platinum.

Soon-to-be couples can have to keep in mind that the overall motif of the wedding is traditionally affected by the colors that they have chosen. And since the selection of the wedding color is one of the first things that they have to decide on, it is best that they at least have some knowledge on how to combine colors.

At the end of it all, it is still the love between the bride and the groom that will bring color to the whole ceremony.
