It’s engagement Wednesday all! And I have a darling engagement shoot, submitted by Ashley Paige Photography, that’s going to have you want to take a trip to San Francisco Bay. Seriously, I think every engaged couple should have the chance of being photographed with a gigantic bow and arrow in the background. To top that the magnificent giant work of art is called “Cupids Span”!
From the Photographer: Paul and Lindsay got engaged along the San Francisco water front. After dinner one night, he dropped down on one knee right below the Bay Bridge and the rest is history! These two were so much fun to work with laughing the whole time and willing to try anything! They wanted colorful, fun, and dreamy pictures along the Embarcadero in San Francisco so that’s what they got!
From the lovely bride-to-be, Lindsay:
How did you meet?
Paul and I were introduced by his best friend at a singles mixer in San Francisco. I was dreading going to the event, but I’m sure glad I did. I met him at the end of the night and he called me on the phone the very next day and asked me out on a date. I knew then he was a keeper, it was nice to get an actual phone call in a world of text messages!
Our first date was a drink followed by dinner on the Embarcadero in SF. After dinner we walked out onto a long pier (Pier 14) underneath the twinkling Bay Bridge lights, it was here where we had our first kiss.
How did he propose?
Paul proposed to me on Valentine’s Day night at this very same spot. The pier is the one you see there in the engagement photos.
What are your wedding plans?
We are getting married May 10th, 2014 at a beautiful winery in Livermore Valley called Murrieta’s Well. It will be rustic chic, think peach, pale pinks, succulents and burlap.
