I mentioned in my last featured wedding post that I love the color pink, especially when used in a weddings color scheme. Well, I’m here to say that my love goes on and grows fonder by the minute. Amanda Jayne Photography sent me an absolutely exquisite, gorgeous, jaw – dropping styled wedding shoot inspired by elegance and southern charm, and I sharing it with you all today. Read Amanda’s comments below while you’re looking over the beautiful photo inspiration!
From the Photographer: We welcome you to sit back and enjoy our behind the scene look at Charlotte Thomas and Charles Smith’s Outdoor Plantation Elegant styled reception. In this styled shoot we wanted the bride “Charlotte Thomas” to take you on a tour of her beautiful reception set up. Under a gorgeous oak tree in a very intimate setting we wanted to keep true to a country/plantation style while adding some elegant details.
Our color scheme (Peach, Pink, and Gold) was matched perfectly by the fabulous wedding cake.
Sweet tea is a must at a true southern wedding, but we thought why not put the sweet tea in a beautiful cut glass punch bowl just to add the elegant feel.
The candy pecans were a wonderful favor that also told the guest where to sit.
Instead of your every day guest book we thought what better way to represent a southern wedding than to have custom playing cards that the guest could give their advice and well wished to the couple on. When Charles and Charlotte decide they want to play a game of cards at home they can reminisce on the amazing memories of their big day.
Instead of a chandelier for their dinner table we thought the beautiful floral chandelier fit right in with the outdoor scene.
